|Congressman Ron Paul is an unelectable crank because he’s obcessed with the crazy notion that increasing the national debt is tantamount to devaluing the currency. To view a larger image, click on it.|
After watching the following video, leave a comment explaining why the Iranians shouldn’t feel the need of nuclear weapons.
If Ron Paul isn’t elected president in 2012, we’re all going to be Iranians. Enemies of the state.
In my previous post, I pointed out the way the mainstream media is attempting to ignore Ron Paul or when they do mention his polling numbers, the polls themselves become suspect. In this post, I will point out that the only thing worse than the mainstream media ignoring Ron Paul is when it decides not to ignore him but instead attempts to denegrate, or ridicule his views. What’s interesting is that the rivalry that exists between Fox and CNN is put aside as they find the most contraversial Ron Paul statements made during an interview by their competitors and attempt to put him in the position of either defending what’s presented as an outrageous statement, denying it, or admitting that he didn’t mean it.
The first two videos below illustrate one example of the above tag team strategy used by Fox and CNN. The last three videos illustrate that Ron Paul knew what he was talking about in the first two videos.
Chris Wallace (Fox News) interviewing Ron Paul on FEMA in conjunction with hurricane Irene on the Eastern Seaboard asks a series of questions predicated on the premise that Ron Paul’s views are radical, extreme and certainly not mainstream.
IN 2012 IT’S RON PAUL
NOBODY AT ALL
Message to the GOP leadership and to their willing accomplices in the media:
In 2012, it’s RON PAUL or NOBODY AT ALL.
If the GOP thinks the Republican Party can regain the White House, it had better start recognizing and supporting the candidacy of Congressman, Doctor Ron Paul right now and start to honestly present the history and voting records of his big government, mainstream, media favorite opponents for what they are… regardless of the fact that some of them will come off looking like idiots, corporate shills, socialists and uninformed Tea Party imposters.
The following videos are presented for the simple purpose of illustrating that Ron Paul has been right for AT LEAST 23 years. The first two videos were recorded in 1988 when Ron Paul ran for the office of president as the Libertarian Party candidate. Notice that he explains what was going on back then and predicted EXACTLY what the result would be.
Part 1 – 1988 Libertarian Party Presidential Nominee Ron Paul interview.
Part 2 – 1988 Libertarian Party Presidential Nominee Ron Paul interview.
In this video we see that a mainstream media network isn’t happy that it inadvertently allowed Ron Paul’s accurate message to be aired and potentially heard by the American public.
John Stewart hosts a show on the comedy channel. Even so, it’s possibly the least biased news outlet around. In the following video, he exposes the blatent bias that exists on a variety of the so-called “legitimate” news channels.
If you don’t want to see Obama re-elected… All Independents including libertarian Party, Green Party, Constitution Party members as well as freedom loving Republicans and Democrats need to register as Republicans to insure that Ron Paul becomes the GOP nominee and INSURE that either Ron Paul or Barack Obama will be the next president.
Personally; If Ron Paul doesn’t win in 2012, I don’t think it matters who wins.
I’m laughing because me and millions more like me have old copies of PGP as well as programming languages capable of creating encryptions that are difficult if not practically impossible to decrypt. Not only that, but there are countless ways to pass information between two (or more) people with almost complete confidence that no one will ever discover the encryption medium, or even discover that there is an encryption medium.
First it was an “Internet Kill Switch” and now that they’ve (apparently) discovered that such a thing would be more difficult than keeping our neighbors to the South from visiting us at will, they think they can eavesdrop on it.
Really. You just have to laugh at these clowns.
Next thing you know, they’ll be appropriating money to build ID Cards that can’t be counterfeited. Oh wait…
Horror! Tremble in fear for the possibility of (another) currency default.
Cower in terror at the thought of Moody’s downgrading US currency.
What we really ought to do is reflect on past defaults and try to imagine the really horrible consequence of failing to stop this counterfeiting FED enterprise in it’s tracks right now before it’s too late to prevent our winding up like the Weimar Republic.
In it’s customary fashion, Mises.Org describes US currency default history.
They say that I missed 3 questions, but I’m going to argue with them about one answer. The other two though, I blew fair and square.

|I’m going to argue that I only missed TWO.
The one in RED below is NOT WRONG – dammit.

I need to do some more studying. How about you?
The Texas legislature had a chance yesterday to drive the last nail in the coffin of the Texas based TSA’s ability to sexually abuse children and grandmothers in wheel chairs.
The cowardly weasel, House Speaker Joe Straus along with the conniving Lt. Governor David Dewhurst and his equally dishonest ally, Governor Rick Perry put enough fear into enough house members to kill the bills authored by Congressman David Simpson and Senator Dan Patrick that would have criminalized TSA agents who chose to “just follow orders” that instructed them to feel around in the panties of the least likely terrorists on Earth.
If Texas and other states used their brains instead of their collective wallets to rake in campaign funds in return for back scatter x-ray machines, more power and less constitutional restrictions, they’d do the sensible thing and hire employees like those starring in the following video.
Texans who help reelect Straus, Dewhurst and Perry deserve what they get: lying, cowardly, third rate crooks.
Ron Paul Predictions
Whenever I’ve heard political opponents debate whether the Social Security “Trust Fund” was (is) a Ponzi Scheme, I’ve always just assumed that they meant (at the worst) it couldn’t sustain it’s viability because (like any Ponzi Scheme) without a continually increasing number of donors, the income generated would never be enough to pay the promised benefits. I never assumed that the whole thing was designed from the beginning to help fund the general spending of the government.
Then I read this October 16, 1999 – Cato Institute article.
So… Based on the actual words and intentions of the Social Security Act – SS is even worse than Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi Scheme – EVEN IF the income base continually grew – coupled with budget shortfalls, dependent on deficit spending – it was designed from the get-go to depend on new taxes to pay for the benefits that were sold by telling people that FICA taxes would be the real source of funds. The whole thing is based on a lie, except for the fact that it’s all described in the law. We were (and still are) too trusting in promotional hype when it comes to buying government crap.
This quote is from a recent Ron Paul newsletter –
|“Interest payments on our federal bond debt likely will amount to about $500 billion for fiscal year 2011, an average of $41 billion per month. Federal tax revenues vary by month, but should total around $2 trillion to $2.5 trillion for FY 2011– an average of perhaps $180 billion per month. So clearly the federal government has sufficient tax revenue to make interest payments to our creditors. For now, those interest payments represent about 12% of the total federal budget. What nobody wants to admit is this: even if the federal government has only $1.5 trillion remaining to spend in 2011 after interest payments, this is PLENTY to fund the constitutional functions of government. After all, the entire federal budget in 1990 was about $1 trillion.”|
Raising the debt limit is only necessary if we borrow MORE than we have already borrowed. In other words, it’s only necessary if we don’t quit INCREASING the amount that we borrow… not increasing the amount that we spend, but what we have to borrow in order to spend.
There isn’t enough outrage to go around.
